Here is where we started: 1-25-13 Chapel
January 22, 2013 - I adopted Chapel (TB, 6 year old gelding) 2 years ago and he was about 850 lbs. He definitely looked malnourished at the time. He did put weight on and came up to around 935, but still has never looked really healthy - lack of muscle development - especially in the shoulders - but always had what looks like a bloated belly.
February 5, 2013 - I think he is making slow and steady progress. I have seen changes in his manure - it has tightened up. It wasn't horrible before, but it has changed. His ribs are slowly starting to cover up. But he still has that bloated look. So far I've been giving Chapel 6 scoops of the Nourish Digestion twice a day (this is the 11th day). I do think I see some changes on his hips also. I'm encouraged. He loves the herbs - I don't even have to put a halter on him, he just walks on over and puts his mouth on the syringe.
April 12, 2013 - He's developing muscle - shoulders, hips, neck - I have been working with him for several weeks on the ground to help him build his top line. He sort of has the look of a marathon runner right now - still lean - ribs still showing, but muscle that wasn't there before now emerging.
He still has a bit of a hay belly, but I do think that has improved.

June 11, 2013 - Chapel looks so good right now. I am so thankful for the help you have given us. I attached before and after pictures for you. The first picture is the day I started him on Nourish Digestion. The other picture I took about two weeks ago. What a difference! He looks fantastic and more than that, I can tell he feels so much better. He's brighter and has more energy - a real turn around for him. Thanks again for your listening ear and your willingness to provide such great support. I truly appreciate it.
