Heaves Solution
Dear Dr. Thomas,
We have been using your Heaves Remedy for one of our mares for about six months now. She was so bad when we started it, I was considering putting her down, because she was laboring so hard to breathe. Her nostrils were constantly filled with thick yellow mucous, that she would expel often.
She was losing weight, and the raspiness in her chest had a whistling sound when she took a breath. She was pretty pathetic. I felt so sorry for her that I thought the kindest thing we could do was to put her out of her misery. Then we started her on you remedy. Today, you would not even know that she had the heaves, if you did not look at her real close
.Her breathing is not quite normal, but, is not labored either. She has gained all of weight back and looks wonderful, has a nice shine to her and with the hot weather we are having, her breathing is not stressed like it was last year at this time. I commend you on your love for the horse, your determination to help them, and your continued research.
