Penny Darragh & Drum - Highland, Scotland

DrumDrumIn December 2003 Drum (Ft Ch Erinvale Drummer) was born, he was the first puppy to try to climb out of the puppy area into the big wide world at 4 weeks. He stayed at home growing up and playing with his two siblings Piper and Gem (Ft Ch Erinvale Gemma who went on to win the British Champion Stake in 2008). Drum retired from competition when he was six years old and has had a happy and healthy retirement since then. In the Spring of 2018, when Drum was 14, he became unwell, he was reluctant to move, he wasn’t reacting to us, preferring to pretend he couldn’t hear us! When Drum did move, he screamed with pain. It was heart-breaking for us to watch him suffer and we really thought it might be his time to go. Our vet gave him an anti-inflammatory pain killer but he couldn’t keep it down. We were devastated that we couldn't seem to find a way to ease his pain. I had been taking For Love of the Horse Natural Pain Relief for a ligament injury with great results so we decided to try him on some. Within a day of Drum beginning to take the formula, he started to move around better and within two weeks he was dancing around like a young dog again with no sign of pain. He is 15 now, showing just a little more mileage on his body, but still a happy and healthy boy thanks to Natural Pain Relief.
