10 days after Zuni had stepped into an almost 2 inch nail with devestating effects, piercing the navicular bursa, penetrating navicular bone, infected navicular & coffin bone fluids, the vet told me "All the money in the world is not going to save that horse." We discussed euthanasia the following Sunday. When we returned to Zuni in the clinic stall, she was in fear for her life trying to break out of the stall.
