My 23 y/o Arab gelding became reluctant to move forward when we were riding. He was especially slow going downhill. I had his front legs X-rayed after he’d been on the ring bone solution for about 3 months. The vet said the broken side bones shouldn’t be a source of discomfort, but the farrier disagreed. I kept him on the ringbone solution, and he suddenly feels better. I think the solution is working, and he is finally feeling relief. (So am I). I’ll have another set of X-rays taken in a few months and see how they compare.

My horse had high ringbone when I purchased him. The area was hot and had a big knob. I gave him one bag of Ringbone Solution and the knob area appears smaller and the heat is gone. He also appears more comfortable. Thank you Dr. Thomas for this helpful formulation.

I have remained consistent in giving the herbs morning and night. Norman has stage 3 ringbone per our vet. Our farrier said he thinks it's closer to stage 4. But we have gone from a horse that stumbled the minute he tried to trot, and he limped a lot. Within weeks he was galloping in the field. I drove him about every week for two miles until winter hit Montana. So he has the winter off unless I find a sleigh. I will continue with the herbs for a full year and then have him re-x-rayed to see if there is any improvement. He's only a seven-year-old haflinger cross and has the most lovely personality. I'm just praying that with diligence and dedication to the protocol set out by For Love of the Horse, we will see improvement. At the very least he has far less pain than before. And he is still running crazy in the snowy fields with our other horses as if nothing is wrong.
