Yes, Gemma's abdominal area appears bloated and sometimes feels rock hard. This can fluctuate. Some weeks are so hard and I worry she will burst. Other weeks (like now) she has some give to her belly. It fluctuates a little, but mostly it is hard and bloated. Began custom formula for Pancreatitis 11/1/19.

Gemma seems to be happy and doing well. We even think she has officially lost a whole pound! Her skin does not look so taut and tight. Her appetite is still very good and she doesn't mind that we are "feeding her twice" even though we are simply half-ing her regular amount to split between the herbs. She still seems to think she is getting two meals in the morning and two in the evening. :) Her energy is good overall. She is not drinking as much water - this also has lessened the accidents in the house. She continues to be confused and sometimes lost in the house. She (sometimes) falls towards the left and has a hard time for a few days, but then this symptom disappears. We have gotten her to play with her sister a few times. They play tug on a toy. Gemma also tried to run through the yard the other day when her sister was barking at a squirrel. Gemma's tail just wags and you can see she wants to participate! We have noticed she is moaning less in the evenings - sometimes not at all. We are hopeful that all of this is a GOOD sign for what is to come!

Her belly/abdomen is less tight. She is still "tubby" but it is my hope that this continues to get better for her, too!

Her symptoms have decreased. She no longer feels taut at the belly. She's not drinking and urinating all the time. Her mood is obviously lifted!!

Gemma is doing AMAZING! She has lost 3 pounds and is happy. She even has found some of her sass. Her pancreas seems to be completely healed and we have established care with a new vet here in town.
